The Green Monster of the Deep
Another dip in the 'ol pool for the green haired babes. Laurie is briefly in town! HORAY! After a delicious lunch, we headed down to the pool for a dip... and ended up staying down there for over 5 hours! Cheney brought Coop and even treated to some delish DQ's. After this wonderful day in the sun/chlorine, I am no longer a blonde. Green seems to be the most predominant colour at the moment - and I ain't complaining.

Our first official dinner guests
Tonight Will and I cooked a savory dinner for mom and dad and enjoyed entertaining our very first dinner guests! We will soon have a table (thank you McNeills!) and can't wait to have you back for more. Will is a certified chef, and had a fun time whipping up one recipe after another. The evening's menu consisted of hummus and soy nuts with blue chips, white wine, penne pasta with a white cream sauce, broccoli and southern-style breaded chicken breasts.

Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Hamilton
I've been enjoying the pool so much, my hair is turning green! This morning I had the pleasure of entertaining Lisa, Mom, Kirsten, Ashton, Tullen, Thatcher, Mallory, Soph and Meel at the pool. Kirsten brought lunch for all, and the kids brought their non-stop energy. Cannon Balls, pool games and hair-doos all around!

Sunday night dinner
What a fun Sunday - few! Did we pack it in or what?! After a full day, Will and I headed out to the Stricklands for dinner and a show. Lisa and Steve are master chefs and prepared a feast for all of us, while Ashton and Tullen sold tickets to the entertainment of the evening... a DANCE! Those two are hilarious! Don't know where Ashton gets her moves (Kirsten thinks it's all the weddings she's been in), but that girl shakes it, twirls her hair around, and belts out Miley like none other! Dallas took the Britts out on a late night airboat ride they will never forget... gators, owls, raccoons and good times!
St. Johns, HOT Crepes, Wally at Winthrop, Canopy Roads, Great Bicycle Drooling
We packed it all in today. Will and I got up early and went to St. John's for the early service, then parked at Crepe Vine for a divinely delicious breakfast for two, then we grabbed Wally and ran him at Winthrop Park till he was completely wiped out. Covered in sweat, we raced to Canopy Roads Cafe for a fun lunch with family and more family, then popped into the Great Bicycle shop to take a look at what the serious triathletes ride.... oh, I do love you Tangerine GIANT. Someday you will be mine.

Nate's 10 year!
What an old geezer! (I am!).... this weekend is Nathan's 10 year high school reunion and a few of us got to crash his fun. Thanks Cody for a blast at the pool; it was so much fun to see all of you. How lucky to have such a great group of friends.

Sunday Funday
Sunday night with the McNeills! I joined Carrie, Chase, Kim, Brad, Blake, Cheney and Jon for a BBQ and swim Sunday. LOVELY! So fun to soak up some sun, take a dip in the pool, visit with friends, and stuff ourselves on delicious fresh caught grouper on the grill, wild rice, asparagus, tomato/cuc salad and biscuts! Yummmm.
The fellas shot their bows in the back yard, a big blue dragon-fly landed on my finger, and Carrie executed a wolf spider perched at the bottom of their pool with precision and grace. Fun had by all.
The only thing missing was Will! Will is kicking butt studying for the upcoming LSAT. He has class 3 times a week (Sunday, Monday and Thursday) and just as much homework. That test is no joke, and I am super proud of all his hard work.

Beach Weekend at the Point
Another beautiful beach weekend with family and friends... this is the life! William and I picked up Will from LSAT class late Friday night with a greasy bag full of Five Guys burgers and fries and headed down to Alligator point for the weekend. Lisa, Cheney and Cooper joined Saturday, and Wally couldn't have been happier to have a friend. We enjoyed a nice long walk, fishing, kayaking, delicious fresh Grouper William caught, old movies late into the night and a suspicious game of Scategories. Dad caught over 10 sail catfish and let Wally investigate. Each of us gave Wally swimming lessons... to no avail. And William kayaked out into deep water and tried to bait the largest Tarpin fish he's ever seen. What a lovely beach weekend.

Pool day with the BABES!
What a blast! Since we moved in, Will and I have been trying to share our pool... and today we had some takers.
BABY day at the Patrick's! Brittney and Regan, Carrie and Baylinn, Kelly and Collin, Katherine and Eva all joined Wally and I for a day at the pool with noodles, pasta, PBJ's and juice boxes. Thanks for coming ladies - I really enjoyed getting to see you and your sweet BABES. Will and I can't wait to add one to the couch! Come again soon...

First Annual Family VACA!
We have been counting down the days to the First Annual Family Vaca. What a fun weekend with everyone under one roof down at Alligator Point. Each of us took different meals and really enjoyed cooking for each other. Will and I put together a feast of cucumber/lemon-mayo/dill sandwiches, pigs 'n the blanket, grilled bbq chicken, summer pasta salad, green salad, sweet grilled corn and baked potatoes -- D-LICIOUS. Wally and Cooper had a blast in the ocean, running after the ball on the beach, and wrestling till they were all wrestled out! The fellas fished and caught a hammer-head, a huge sting ray and a few little fish. And all of us had a good time making "craft-hats" (see photo). We are already in talks for next year!!!
