Paint, paint and more paint!

In the mean time, the painting must go on. Thanks to all the help of our family, the painting was knocked out in no time, and I was able to bounce back and forth between mom and dad's house and the condo getting a little freelance work done as well.

The movers assured us our things and things would arrive between 3 and 10 days. It has been 11. We are SO thankful mom and dad have let us shack up with them, but we are really looking forward to getting more settled in. (Kinda feels like we are on vaca?)

Can't say Wally minds it... I think he feels RIGHT AT HOME with mom and dad in their huge foresty home. He is in HEAVEN!

MUSTACHEO.

Will shaved a mustache so his wifey could have a few giggles.

Then he got sick in the middle of the night. I had to take him to the walk-in clinic and the nurses were having a field day with his little mustache and his head-t0-toe bright yellow sweat suit.

Will got up in the middle of the night and looked himself in the mirror. He said "you and your stupid mustache!". Mustache = good laughs. Mustache + sick + yellow sweat suit = bad choice.

Get well Will!

Making it ours!

We are psyched to be moving into our MANSION. We will be renting mom and dad's condo and have decided to give it a little spruce job to make it feel more "our's". Will and I spend the afternoon at LOWES and picked out a few bright, clean colors and some wood paneling for William's wainscotting project... and then we got to work.

Thank you army of worker bees - the paint and move is coming right along thanks to you!

WE ARE LOCALS!

We did it! Will, Wally and I are officially Tallahasseeians! Mark your calendars, we made the move back to Tallahassee... June 19th is a happy day.

And just in time to celebrate a Father's day/Ryan's birthday combo at mom and dad's house. We made our first run to Walmart (awesome), gathered up gifts and helped prepare for the celebrations. We are so excited to be in town (for good) and to have jumped right into all the festivities.

Holy Cannoli! We are moving!!!

We have decided to make the move to sunny Tallahassee Florida! We got back into NY on Wednesday evening and began the packing process. We thoroughly enjoyed our last three days and four nights in crazy New York City. Kara Dove and I got our toes painted at Rahobeth, Will and I had a delicious dinner and Kir Royals at Gotina, Svenni met us for thai at Cafetasia, Inga hung out with us in our empty apartment, Will and James reminisced old times at his art studio, and we walked around the village sans pup just taking it all in. Gina and Mike had a fare-the-well savory, home-cooked dinner in our honor, and we spent our last night hanging out with friends.

We have had a wonderful run in New York, and are so thankful for all the experiences, memories and friends it has afforded us. BUT.... the time has come to say good bye. So, with nostalga setting in and a smile from ear to ear... we say adieu to this wonderful city, hold our memories close and look forward to our next visit - when ever that may be.

Wally, GG, Freddy and Wil

Wally can't believe the phenomenal new situation he's found himself in... sunny, grassy Florida with his grandparents and Uncle Wil! He has the run of the house: up the stairs, down the stairs, in the tub, under the couch, the guest bedroom, hand feedings from Freddy, lazy lap naps with GG at the Senior Center and kayak fishing trips with Uncle Wil (and his first alligator sighting!). Thank you all for helping dog sit - we couldn't have enjoyed our honeymoon without knowing he was in such good hands!
