ANTIGUA!

Let the honeymooning begin! A short nine months after our spectacularly dreamy wedding, Will and I departed for tropical ANTIGUA paradise! We arrived at the airport only to find out that our flight had been canceled... after fighting a few tears back, we ended up hopping on a plane and spending a night in Miami.

The next morning we flew out and arrived in ANTIGUA mid afternoon (route word: antique...and boy, was it antique, and gorgeous, and perfectly amazing!). After a fast-moving, opposite side of the street cab tour from "Ninja", we made it to the south west coast and our little slice of heaven, Coco Bay.

Our bungalow was simply divine. We spent the entire week rejuvenating. We learned to sail and took off alone out into the middle of the cove. We swam and snorkeled and explored the crystal blue reef full of bright little tiny fish and a huge red star fish. We dined on fancy seafood and piƱa coladas every day and night... and coffee and chocolate cookies for breakfast. We savored an hour of a open hut couples massage up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We ventured out to the highest point on the island for BBQ and dancing to a steel drums band (a port where Uncle Bill once spent several months working long ago). We napped in the afternoons and read books filled with pirates and murder mysteries from the book shelves other visitors had left (PD James can really write ya'll). It was the most restful, needed vaca we have shared in a LONG time... and it reminded us of how very much we like to travel, and travel together.

Ready for the next trip!
